The living rooms-one downstairs, one upstairs – with a pull
out couch for Essie.
(sorry- don't have another pic of this room)
The bathrooms are beautiful and so amazingly clean!
And then the dining room. I think this may be where we
spent the bulk of our time playing games, doing puzzles, and eating!
The kitchen….
was absolutey beyond anything we hoped for and allowed us
to create lots of yummy meals. They had
all the cookware, dishes, utensils and appliances we needed… even a crock
pot! Here is Essie making her very first batch of homemade chicken and
dumpling. They turned out great.
The outside is much more beautiful than the picture shows…
the landscaping was just beautiful, even in the winter. There was a patio our back with a barbecue (not called a grill) and even a little clothes line. There
was also a cute little washer and dryer (which were running almost all the time, as
we could only do about 3 pair of jeans at a time. )
And just in case you think we are not having character
buildings, and the rejoicing is always easy….. this happened.- YIKES! Lisa and Kees were very kind! It is now
fixed and no one bled. I think a game of hide and seek and someone trying to
get under the bed caused the problem. Oops!
As we move across this great country, we will keep you
updated on our progress!
